Mother General and the community of Tyburn Convent have the pleasure to invite you to a unique and exclusive event on the 22nd of September, 2017, in the premises of St James’s Church, Spanish Place, to listen to the “New Pavarotti” of our times, the renowned and distinguished international opera tenor, Vasili Karpiak, who will join us for the evening and will delight and entertain his guests with famous, favourite Italian operatic songs and arias from operas of Puccini, Giordano, Mascagni and Verdi.  The well respected accompanist, Gergely Kaposi, is a professional musician, pianist of renown, Professor of Music in his native Hungary and a highly acclaimed opera conductor.

The evening will consist of 2 parts of half hour recitals, and a socialising interval in between, with a smoked salmon reception, a selection of cheeses, prosecco and wine.

All guests have the chance to meet and talk with the famous tenor himself at the end of the concert.  Programs will be sold in the church at £5 each and all proceeds will go towards the noble charity cause of Tyburn Convent.
