Mr George Weigel

The author of 13 books, he is best known internationally for his magisterial biography of Pope John Paul II, ‘Witness to Hope’. Published in 1999 in English, French, Italian, and Spanish, ‘Witness to Hope’ has subsequently appeared in Polish, Portuguese, Slovak, Czech, Slovenian, Russian, and German.

Mr Weigel has contributed articles to opinion journals and newspapers throughout the world and is a consultant on Vatican Affairs for NBC News. His weekly column, ‘The Catholic Difference’, is syndicated to 60 newspapers in the United States.
