Story of Tyburn Monasterio del Sagrado Corazon
The Tyburn Nuns in Sechura, Peru, have opened their Ethnological Museum in Sechura. The Museum was conceived with the intention of showing the local people and people from outside Peru, a panoramic synthesis of the most representative expressions of the entire culture of Sechura. It contains artefacts which portray the habitat, ecology, passing through the epochs of the cultural products of the inhabitants of ancient Chusis. On exhibit are ancient ceramics with anthropomorphic and zoomorphic designs in monochrome; the burial artefacts of the 'Lord of Chusis"; historical paintings of aspects of the cultural activities of the area.
